Autistic kids meet Olympic swimmer at third Subway® Swim Day

Two-time Olympian Dion Dreesens from the Netherlands swam with children with autism at the third Subway® Swim Day. Dreesens, teamed up with local Subway® restaurants and the Greensboro Aquatic Center (GAC), whose instructors taught basic swimming skills to the children with Autism Unbound who attended the event.

Dreesens is an international student-athlete attending Queens University in Charlotte, where he majors in sport management. He competed in the 2012 London and 2016 Rio games, and was named 2016 NCAA swimmer of the year award winner for collegiate swimming.
